Le Hamac

During most of the year the weather in Cavalaire is better than might be expected. The area is sheltered by the Massif des Maures which rises right behind the village. This results in a microclimate: in Cavalaire: the sun shines more than 300 days a year and there is little rainfall relatively spoken. Sometimes, however, the Mistral does blow, which is a powerful northern wind.
